Sixth Year Of Trying Fifty-Two New Experiences
Another year, and another fifty-two new experiences and adventures completed! I’m just finishing writing up the last few and will add them as soon as they’re ready.
This year saw some further afield new experiences, amazing wildlife encounters, big steps out of my comfort zone and once again, despite best intentions, quite a few new things left to try in December!

- Tried regional variations of Okonomiyaki
- Sang Karaoke in Japan
- Soaked in the hot springs in Taiwan
- Met the deer in Nara Park
- Travelled in a Cambodian post van
- Met Guinness World Record Holders for the longest circus show
- Had breakfast at a floating market
- Trekking in Sapa, Vietnam
- Tried Vietnamese egg coffee
- Cruised, kayaked and swam in Lan Ha bay
- Hiked to the moving dunes in Poland
- Walked across the Curonian Spit in Lithuania
- Swam in the Baltic sea
- Walked on the edge of the Tallinn TV Tower
- Seen Depeche Mode in Tallinn
- Been active in the world’s purest air
- Picked up a hitchhiker
